Weekends is a 2018 American animated film written and directed by Trevor Jimenez, a Canadian-born animator for Pixar, the film depicts Jimenez's own childhood experience as a child of divorced parents. Jimenez made the film through the co-op program at Pixar, which permits employees to use some company resources to make their own independent short films.

Plot[]
After his parents split up, a young boy must adjust to living with his mother during the week and his father during the weekend. Their new routine is difficult on all of the family members, but is especially confusing to the youngster as his parents move on with their lives without each other.
