Tom Hardy is an English actor, Producer and screenwriter. He made his debut in Ridley Scott's 2001 war film Black Hawk Down. He began with a short lived modeling career due to his acting career taking off. Hardy's television roles include the HBO war drama miniseries "Band of Brothers" (2001), the BBC historical drama miniseries "The Virgin Queen" (2005), ITV's "Wuthering Heights" (2008), and the BBC British historical crime drama television series "Peaky Blinders" (2013). Hardy has also performed on British and American stages. In 2010, Hardy became an ambassador for the Prince's Trust, a leading UK youth charity which provides training, personal development, business start up support, mentoring and advice. His other film roles include such titles as; Star Trek: Nemesis (2002), Layer Cake (2004), Marie Antoinette (2006), RocknRolla (2008), Inception (2010), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011), Warrior (2011), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), Child 44 (2015), Mad Max: Fury Road and The Revenant (2015).
