The Invisible Woman is a 2013 British biographical drama film directed by Ralph Fiennes and based on Claire Tomalin's book "The Invisible Woman: The Story of Nelly Ternan and Charles Dickens". The screenplay was written by Abi Morgan and stars Fiennes, Felicity Jones, Kristin Scott Thomas, Tom Hollander and John Kavanagh. It had its premiere at the Telluride Film Festival on 31 August 2013.
