The Beatles were a British pop/rock quartet active from 1960–1969. The band's primary members were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. In 1969, the group starred in their final film, a documentary entitled Let It Be which chronicled the making the album of the same name. The Beatles won the Oscar for Best Orignal Song Score for the film at the 43rd Academy Awards, which was accepted on their behalf by Quincy Jones.
