Steven Spielberg is an Academy Award-winning American director, producer, and writer. Including Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Schindler's List. Winner of three competitive Academy Awards including Best Director and Best Picture, Spielberg was also awarded the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award in 1987.
