Soul is a 2020 film about jazz teacher Joe Grant, after being given the chance of a lifetime, going through an out of body experience with a soul-in-training and learning what it means to live life. The film is directed by Pete Docter, who co-wrote the screenplay and developed the story with Mike Jones and Kemp Powers. The film stars Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey, Graham Norton, Rachel House, Alice Braga, Richard Ayoade, Phylicia Rashad, Donnell Rawlings, Questlove, Daveed Diggs, Wes Studi, and Angela Bassett. The film had it's world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on October 11, 2020, and streamed digitally on Disney+ on Christmas Day.
