Sleepless in Seattle is a 1993 American romantic comedy-drama film directed and co-written by Nora Ephron. Based on a story by Jeff Arch. It stars Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Ross Mallinger, Bill Pullman, Rosie O'Donnell, Rob Reiner, Victor Garber and David Hyde Pierce. The film was inspired by the 1957 film An Affair to Remember and used both its theme song and clips from the film in critical scenes.

Plot[]
Sam is a recent widower who is seeking someone new. Sam's son Jonah, is also looking for a new mother, so when Jonah puts his father on national radio, hundreds of women write to him. One of the women is Annie. She's engaged to Walter, but feels the "magic" is missing. So Annie goes to great lengths to meet Sam.
