Sam Rockwell is an American actor. He began in television before crossing over to films and the stage. He received numerous accolades for some of his earlier roles but his big breakthrough came when starring as Chuck Barris in Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002. Rockwell's film credits include, Lawn Dogs (1997), The Green Mile (1999), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005), The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007), Frost/Nixon (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Seven Psychopaths (2012), and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017).
