Ronan Blaney is an Irish screenwriter who has worked frequently with director Michael Lennox. He is also a part-time teacher. He was selected for Coming Up in 2009 and his film Boy was broadcast on Channel 4 in September 2010. A short film Back of Beyond won a Royal Television Award and was nominated for the European Film Award. His first theater play is "Fast & Loose" staged in 2014 receiving raving reviews.
