Robert Stromberg was exposed to the world of film and design at a very early age. His father William Stromberg was a low budget filmmaker and visual effects cameraman in the early 70’s this planted the seeds for Robert’s creative future. In 1998 he formed his own visual effects company called Digital Backlot, which soon became a recognized name in the world of visual effects and design. Robert soon became one of the world’s top film artists and was sought after by Hollywood’s top director’s including: Steven Spielberg, Steven Soderbergh, Peter Weir, Rob Marshall, Tim Burton and James Cameron.
