Pride & Prejudice is a 2005 British romance film directed by Joe Wright and based on Jane Austen's 1813 novel of the same name. Keira Knightley stars in the lead role of Elizabeth Bennet, while Matthew Macfadyen plays her romantic interest Mr. Darcy. Rounding out the all-star cast is Donald Sutherland, Brenda Blethyn, Rosamund Pike, Jena Malone, Carey Mulligan, Simon Woods, Kelly Reilly, Tom Hollander, Rupert Friend and Judi Dench.

Plot[]
The story is based on Jane Austen's novel about five sisters - Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty and Lydia Bennet - in Georgian England. Their lives are turned upside down when a wealthy young man (Mr. Bingley) and his best friend (Mr. Darcy) arrive in their neighborhood.
