Patricia Norris is an American costume designer and production designer, who has worked on many significant films. Norris's first credit as costume designer was for The Late Liz (1971). She is known for frequent collaborations with director, David Lynch. In 2010, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award for the Art Directors Guild. Notable films to her credit include, The Candidate (1972), The Sunshine Boys (1975), Days of Heaven (1978), California Suite (1978), The Elephant Man (1980), Victor/Victoria (1982), Frances (1982), 2010 (1984), Blue Velvet (1986), Wild at Heart (1990), The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007), and 12 Years a Slave (2013).
