Olivia Colman is an English actress. She has received numerous accolades, including three British Academy Television Awards, four British Independent Film Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards. Colman came to prominence for her supporting role as Sophie Chapman in the Channel 4 comedy series Peep Show (2003–2015). In 2019, she will be playing the role of Queen Elizabeth II in the Netflix series The Crown. On Colman's move to film, she received critical acclaim for her performance in Paddy Considine's film Tyrannosaur (2011). Other film roles include Hot Fuzz (2007), The Iron Lady (2011), Hyde Park on Hudson (2012), Locke (2013), The Thirteenth Tale (2013), The Lobster (2015), London Road (2015), Murder on the Orient Express (2017) and The Favourite (2018).
