Marit Allen was a British fashion journalist and costume designer who specialized in costumes for films. She designed the costumes for several successful films, including Mrs. Doubtfire, Brokeback Mountain and La Vie en Rose. In November 2007 she died of a brain aneurysm in Sydney, Australia.
