Maria Djurkovic is a British production designer. Her feature film credits as production designer include Stephen Daldry's Billy Elliot (2000) and The Hours (2002); Woody Allen's Scoop (2006) and Cassandra's Dream (2007). Other notable films include Mamma Mia! (2008), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) and The Invisible Woman (2013). She started her career as set designer, starting out designing sets for stage, opera, and ballet productions at major U.K. theatres. She has also worked on television commercials and music videos. In 2002, Djurkovic was honored with the Women in Film and Television Technical Achievement Award.
