Lukasz Zal is a Polish cinematographer and director. He has worked primarily on short films until he was promoted from camera operator to Cinematographer on the film Ida (2014) due to the original cinematographer, Ryszard Lenczewski, becoming ill and having to drop out of the film. He has also worked on documentaries and took the Golden Frog in the documentary category in 2011 for Paparazzi.
