John Seale is an Australian cinematographer. He won an Oscar for his work in the 1996 film The English Patient. He has worked on over 42 films since 1976 including such notable titles as, Witness (1985), Children of a Lesser God (1986), Rain Man (1988), Dead Poets Society (1989), Lorenzo's Oil (1992), The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001), and The Tourist (2010).
