John Lesher is an American film producer. He began his career as one of the top-tier agent of directing talent at UTA and Endeavor before he ran Paramount Classics and then Paramount Pictures. He is owner of Le Grisbi Productions. In 2015 he has joined LBI Entertainment. He has had success with such films as Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2015), the black comedy directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu (Lesher was his longtime agent), as well as the David Ayer-directed Fury (2015), the WWII tank film that stars Brad Pitt and was released by Sony in October 2014. Lesher also produced Ayer’s End Of Watch (2012).
