Harvey Keitel is an American actor and producer. He is best known for starring in Martin Scorsese's Taxi Driver (1976), Ridley Scott's Thelma & Louise (1991), Jane Campion's The Piano (1993), Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction (1994). Along with actors Al Pacino and Ellen Burstyn, he is the current co-president of the Actors Studio, which claims itself to be considered "the nation's most prestigious acting school". Other notable films include, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974), The Last Temptation of Christ (1988), Bugsy (1991), U-571 (2000), Inglourious Basterds (2009), and Moonrise Kingdom (2012).
