Eric Reynolds is an American animator and visual effects artist. He has worked on such films as Hollow Man (2000), King Kong (2005), District 9 (2009), Avatar (2009), Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012). Reynolds and his fellow visual effects artists are nominated for an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for the 2013 film The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
