Eminem (born Marshall Mathers) is an Academy Award-winning American rapper and actor. In 2002, he made his acting debut in 8 Mile for which he wrote, produced, and performed the film's theme, "Lose Yourself", which won the Best Original Song Oscar at the 75th Academy Awards, becoming the first rap song to win in the category.
