Chloé Zhao is a Chinese director, editor, producer, and writer. She made her debut in the film scene in 2015 with Songs My Brothers Taught Me, which got her a lot of acclaim and several award nominations. Her second film, The Rider, got her even more acclaim and led her to being hired by Marvel Studios to be the director of Eternals. In 2021, she surpassed Alexander Payne to become the most awarded person in a single awards season.
