Bowling for Columbine is a 2002 American docu-drama film written, directed and narrated by Michael Moore. Synopsis[]

Filmmaker Michael Moore sets out to explore the reason(s) behind the massacre of 12 students and a teacher at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999. Moore shows how easy it is to acquire guns and munitions. He takes on a deeper examination of America's culture of fear, bigotry and violence in a nation with widespread gun ownership focusing on mainly hunters and militia.
