The Academy has recently unveiled 18 films that are under consideration to be nominated for the Academy Award for Animated Feature Film. Five of these films will be nominated, and one of them will be chosen as the winner.
The 84th Academy Awards nominations will be announced live on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at 5:30 a.m. PT in the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
